This original homestead is on our property in the Adelaide Hills and on this particular night it was cloudy and I could see the Milky Way through the clouds forjusta few minutes so I waited for this moment. I wanted to connect to these buildings, the stonework, the past and the glory of the building.

Early Morning in the Hills
There is always that special feeling in the Hills when there is fog creeping through the landscape. I play this game where I drive different ways to work, the journey really excites me and on this particular morning I left early as I knew the light was going to be good and I was chasing the light through the landscape.
The Train Line to Ironknob
After work while my colleagues are having a beer in the pub I take off with my camera. I took this photograph travelling from Whyalla to Ironknob on the Eyre Peninsula after dark, which is how I got the reflection on the tracks. There is something special about the colour out there.
I was almost hit by a tram. I ran into the middle of the road and threw my camera bag on the medium strip because I was so caught up by the light hitting the tram lines. It was a now or never situation.
Port Pirie Clouds
I drove from Whyalla to where the sun was going to set, this was a game I used to play and I arrived at Port Pirie. The clouds were so intense and as they were blowing over and I just kept taking photographs until I got it in the right position, this image records all the ranges of light
